This workshop is for professionals only
This is a workshop for professionals working with school aged children (5 years old and older)
Aim of this workshop
- Understand how we learn new words
- Develop your understanding about the importance of vocabulary in everyday life
- Understand the impact of vocabulary difficulties for children
- Understand how to help children develop their vocabulary skills
Entry criteria
The workshop will benefit children who:
- have difficulties communicating their message or talking clearly
- appear hesitant when talking
- say non-specific things like "thingy" or "you know" a lot
- struggle to recall new words
- do not understand information they hear or read
Workshop dates
