Why your voice matters
Services and studies work better when they’re guided by the people who use them. By sharing your ideas and experiences, you’ll help make projects more relevant, fair and effective for young people in our community.
What you'll do in the sessions
During these sessions you will:
- review live project ideas and give feedback
- co-design surveys, workshops and resources
- help test and improve health services
- build skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership
What you get for taking part
During these sessions you will receive:
- £15 per session for your time
- food and refreshments
- the opportunity to meet people in a safe, friendly space
- experience for your CV, college or university application
- the chance to learn about research and co-production
You can choose to be paid by bank transfer or voucher. At your first session you’ll be asked to complete a short form so we can set up your payment. We can support you with filling this out.
Who can join
This group is aimed at young people aged 14 to 19 living in or around Luton and Bedfordshire. No experience is needed, just bring your voice and curiosity.
We would love to hear from you if you have accessed our health services before, but this isn’t a necessity.
We welcome young people from all backgrounds, including those:
- with disabilities
- from minority communities
- from the LGBTQ+ community
- with lived experience of challenges such as care, health conditions or housing
We aim to make sessions welcoming and accessible for everyone. We follow our Safeguarding Policy and trained staff are always present.
Let us know if you have access, cultural, or communication needs when you sign up. We can plan support with you.
